Make No Bones About It!

As living tissue, bones require 24 bone-building materials including trace elements and proteins.

Strong, healthy bones need lots of calcium, but supplementation with calcium also needs magnesium to be present, as this trace element increases the retention of the calcium in the bones themselves.

Then, phosphorus, itself an important component of the bone building picture, must be in proper balance with the calcium.

Too much of it, generally as a result of over-consumption of proteins, will suck the calcium right back out of the bones, and significantly lower their strength and their integrity.

Vitamins D and K are also vital for enhanced calcium deposition into the bone structure, while several other trace elements such as manganese, silicon, zinc and copper are also fundamentally required to strengthen the mineral mixture in the bones.

Added to this, Vitamin’s C, B6, B12 and Folic Acid are also necessary to make sure that the human skeleton retains its basic strength and integrity.
